- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪We waited from 5:30 pm to 1:30 am in the ER. They ran tests but we were still waiting on test results and just couldn't wait all night. Several in the waiting room gave up and left. Others waited and waited. It was like being in purgatory. Most of the staff didn't seem to care. No one even responded when we hit the call button when we were finally admitted to a room. This is not acceptable. This is not quality care. I brought my daughter in with a serious problem, and given her blood clotting disorder, I just couldn't wait for a regular doctor's appointment. But I am now so sorry I brought her to Akron General. If you have a choice, never visit that ER.November 11, 2017by Pam Schulze
